Tweens and Teens entering grades 7-12 are asked to register, read, and report their reading.
This year, UNEARTH A STORY invites you to complete literary and related local activities that explore the theme of dinosaurs, paleontology, and archaeology.
How It Works
2026 Registration Opens: Friday, June 5, 2026

Kick-off Registration and Snack & Craft: Friday, June 5, from 10am – 4pm.
Come register for Summer Reading and participate in an Art Activity. (Snacks available, while supplies last)
Deadline for Reporting Pages: Friday, July 24, 2026, at 6pm.

Awards Celebration: Saturday, July 25, 2026 at 2:00 p.m.
Cake & Summer Reading Award Winners Announced
All participants who register, participate, and report at least one book read will receive a $10 gift card to Chapter One Bookstore in Ketchum or Iconoclast Books & Gifts in Hailey. Gift cards must be picked up in person at The Community Library.
Students entering Grades 7-12: Please report once for each book read. You may report up to 24 books. Participants will earn 1 ticket into our Grand Prize Drawing for each book they read and report.
We are supporting the valley-wide Wood River Middle School Teen Reading Bingo card as well. For a full Bingo card blackout, earn 5 additional tickets. Bingo Cards can be downloaded here. Blackout must be turned in (in person) at The Community Library in Ketchum.
