Accessibility

The Community Library Association seeks to be a place where everyone of all ability levels and neurodiversity is welcome and included, and ADA-accessibility is foundational in this regard. To that end, we strive to prioritize accessibility at all our locations.

See details here for accessibility at each Library location.

However, some of our buildings are historic, and have design features that impede accessibility, so please see the accessibility information for each specific location. If you would like to request an accommodation at a specific library event, please use the form for that event, findable in the calendar.

If you would like to request an accommodation at any of our facilities, or would like to make a suggestion, or talk to a staff member, click here. You are also of course welcome to speak to any staff member on site.

Programs

We welcome people of all ability levels and neurodiversity to our Library programs. If there is something we can do to help you in participating in our programs, please follow the instructions in the event to request an accommodation.

Lecture Hall programs can seat up to 200 people. Upon request, and dependent on the program, we may be able to stream a lecture hall program to a quieter room.

If you need a seat reserved or a space designated for your mobility device, please follow the instructions in the detail page for that event. Be sure to include the number of people in your party and whether they need chairs or spaces if you would like to be seated together.
