…your passport to lifelong wonder and quiet escape…
Getting a library card at The Community Library is easy and free.
We have members from all 50 states and from many countries around the world. You can join no matter where you live — it’s easy and, yes, free!
You can drop by a Service Desk to get started. Or complete the Online Borrower Registration form below, and then come in to pick up a library card at a Service Desk. We do ask new members to show a picture ID upon joining or picking up your card.
You will get a library card number and set up a PIN when joining. These credentials are needed to access your library account online, to check out library materials or to use of our digital services. So please keep track of them to maximize your library experience.
If you’re already a member but have misplaced your card, drop by and we can set you up with a new one! Accounts do need to be updated periodically but the Service Desk can help when the time comes.
If you have more questions, reach out to us! Our library staff would be happy to go over our checkout limits and many in-library and online services with you. You can also visit our FAQ for more details on using the library.
