How It Works
2025 Registration Opens: Friday, June 6, 2025
Drop-In Registration and Snack & Craft: 10:30 am – 2:00 pm on Saturday, June 1, 2024
2025 Deadline for Reporting Pages: end of day, Friday, July 25th, 2025
2025 Awards Celebration: 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 26th, 2025
All participants who register, participate, and report at least 500 minutes of reading will receive a $10 voucher to Chapter One Bookstore in Ketchum or Iconoclast Books & Gifts in Hailey. Vouchers must be picked up in person at The Community Library.
Please report your reading in 500-minute increments. You may make up to 6 reports of 500 minutes each. Participants will earn 1 ticket into our Grand Prize Drawing for every 500 minutes they read and report (Limit 6).
Paper logs to track reading are available at the library. They are optional. You may track using any method of your choice.

Kids Summer Reading Rules
You Must Register AND Log Your Minutes of Reading by NOON on Friday, July 27, 2024
Children must be registered for the summer reading program AND log the minimum amount of 500 minutes read in order to win a prize. Forms for registering and logging pages are above.
Claim Your Prize
Prize winners will be determined by a blind drawing. You need not be present to win. Prizes must be picked up in person by October 1, 2024. We do not deliver. In the rare instance that an advertised prize is not available, an alternative prize will be substituted at the sole discretion of The Community Library.
Redeem Your $10 Voucher
Summer Reading vouchers can be redeemed at either Iconoclast Books and Gifts in Hailey or Chapter One Bookstore in Ketchum. The vouchers EXPIRE on October 1, 2024.
