Children’s Collection
The Children’s Collection features curved shelving, whimsical trees, and nooks for study or reading among the stacks. Find you favorite books among the stacks or browse for new ones. Our collection is a place for discovery.
Tree House
The Treehouse is our program room for visiting classes, small programs, and story times. When not in group use, the treehouse becomes a beautiful space open to all to read, relax and take in the view.
Toddler Room
The Toddler Room houses comfortable seating and our collection of Board Books. Board Books are printed on durable paperboard, making them ideal for the smallest of children.
Messy Space
Our Messy Space provides a classroom or group a special space to make slime, paint, sew, craft, explore, and more. With durable flooring, it’s also a great place to eat a snack or host a Library party.
Totem Pole
The Children’s Library Totem Pole is a commissioned artwork by Allen and Mary Dee Dodge. Adorned with animals and birds, the Totem Pole also features a wide mouth and a perfect reading nook that kids love.
Whimsical Dr. Seuss Artifacts
The Dr. Seuss prints are reproductions of “The Cat in the Hat” (1957) and “Green Eggs and Ham” (1960). The Carbonic Walrus, Gimlet Fish, and Turtle-Necked Sea Turtle sculptures are all hand-painted cast resin reproductions of original sculptures that Dr. Seuss produced in 1937.
