What is the Bloom Truck?
The Bloom Truck is a unique partnership between The Community Library and The Hunger Coalition, which brings a free mobile library and free lunches to neighborhoods throughout Blaine County. A wide variety of community partners also provide enrichment activities at Bloom locations. The Bloom truck is a key element in preventing the summer learning loss by providing access to FREE books and FREE, HEALTHY food.
Bloom Truck Schedule
The Bloom Truck travels to locations throughout the Wood River Valley during the summer months. During the summer of 2024 the Bloom Truck visits: Carey City Park & Fairgrounds, Bellevue Memorial Park, Kiwanis Park at Balmoral, The Meadows, Westwood Mobile Home Park, and Valley View/Wood River Middle School. The Bloom Truck brings lunches and books. The Hunger Coalition also serves lunches only at locations below (in green).
