The Community Library is pleased to announce the opening of an exhibition highlighting the Sun Valley Museum of History’s Don and Gretchen Fraser Collection. Gretchen and Don Fraser played an integral role in building the Sun Valley community and identity in the mid 20th century. Both were elite skiers, and Gretchen was the first American to win an Olympic gold medal in skiing.
The “Gretchen’s Gold” ski run on Baldy and Gretchen’s Restaurant at Sun Valley are named for her.

The Sun Valley Museum of History is located in the Ketchum Forest Service Park on the corner of First and Washington Avenues.
