Our summer reading award party is at 2:00 pm today. Join us for cake and celebrate all your hard work reading this summer. We’ll also be drawing for our Grand Prizes for our Summer Reading Program: a bike, a Nintendo Switch, and a $100 Toy Store Gift Card, donated courtesy of our Grand Friends.
Paws to Read with Cricket & Lisa

Story Time with Special Guest, Professional Skater Jason Graetz
Jason is a professional ice skater from Winnipeg, Canada. He has performed in over 30 countries all over the world. In over 4000 shows he has fallen on the ice over 15000 times…on purpose. He loves to entertain and is inspired to make audiences smile. Join him on Monday morning at this special Story Time.
Story Time with San Francisco Ballet Principal Dancer Sasha De Sola
As part of Ballet Sun Valley’s education program, the Library is honored to present San Francisco Principal Dancer, Sasha De Sola reading from the children’s book inspired by her life, On Tiptoes/De Puntitas.
Sasha De Sola was trained at the Kirov Academy of Ballet in St. Petersburg, Russia. She joined the San Francisco Ballet as an apprentice in 2006. She joined the Company in 2007 and was promoted to soloist in 2012 and principal dancer in 2017. De Sola has created principal or ensemble roles in Caniparoli’s Tears, McIntyre’s Your Flesh Shall Be a Great Poem, Rhoden’s LET’S BEGIN AT THE END, Scarlett’s Hummingbird, Thatcher’s Ghost in the Machine, Welch’s Bespoke and Wheeldon’s Bound To.
The target audience for this Story Time is ages 3 – 8 years old.
Science Time with Ann Christensen
Ann Christensen will host Science Time in the Children’s Library. Sometimes furry, feathered, or scaled creatures make a visit and Ann teaches about animals, their habitats, and our natural world.
Science Time is every Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. It is best suited to preschool age children and up.
