This little wooden box and its contents were found inside the Hemingway House when it’s ownership was transferred to The Community Library. Inside are various little objects, including a Dragonfly model dioptric scope which was made by Van Cort Industries in the late 1980s, a little tiny red case with a small charm inside, and two shotgun shells. The little box has a very Hemingway-esque image on the top of a man on horseback fighting a bull.
