General info

Date: ---------------October 5 | 12:00 am - 1:00 am
Location: John A. and Carole O. Moran Lecture Hall

As part of National Hispanic Heritage Month, and in partnership with the Hispanic Latin US Taskforce, The Community Library will host a panel discussion celebrating and hearing from young Latino leaders in our community.

The discussion will be moderated by Eduardo Escalera, 2022 Wood River High School Graduate and current student at the Sun Valley Culinary Institute. Panelists will include Lizeth Trujillo (a junior at Silver Creek High School), Jonathan Reigle (WRHS graduate), Steven James Serva Gonzales (Sun Valley Community School), and Joseph Melgar-Egoavil (WRHS senior).

The conversation will highlight the incredible work of high school students, recent graduates, and other young leaders, inviting them to share with us their visions for the Wood River Valley. Their conversation will be presented "intercambio," moving between English and Spanish. The event will be livestreamed and recorded for later viewing. Click here to watch online.
