His daughter Martha re-kindled this legacy from 2003-2017 at her own Pendl's Bakery in Driggs. These treats are BONKERS good. Did you know about the Austrian connections to Sun Valley? From the start of the resort, there's been a deep connection to Austria and specifically to Kitzbuhel, which is a ski area that hosts the famous Hahnenkamm downhill. The original Sun Valley ski instructors were almost all Austrian and they brought their food and culture with them. And ... Kitzbuhel and Sun Valley are sister cities!
Julie Weston will be here with her newest book, "Salmon Moon: The River of No Return." Get your copy signed by the author!
The Wood River Museum will have a selection of laminated placemats featuring photos from the archives as well as books, postcards and more.
Jessica Miller's paintings, darling ski ornaments and "hobby sheep" (like a hobby horse, but with a sheep head!) are in the gift shop, too.
We'll serve hot cocoa and spiced cider.
