The Wood River Seed Library is hosting a “Brown Bag” lunch-time gathering next Tuesday, June 5th, from noon to 1 at The Community Library. We hope to gather outside under the blossoming crabapple tree, weather permitting. Aspiring and seasoned gardeners can join in by asking questions of our expert seed saver John Caccia and master gardener Manon Gaudreau. There will be lots of FREE seeds to take home and try in your Wood River Valley gardens. You will also learn about the ancient art of seed saving and how local efforts have blossomed into tens of thousands of locally gathered and dispersed seeds. Bring a sack lunch if you like — we will have fresh lemonade!
