The Community Library in partnership with the Hispanic/LatinUS Task Force presents Hailing Cesar, a documentary film about Eduardo Chavez’s journey to understand the legacy and struggle of his grandfather, the late civil rights activist Cesar Chavez. The film will be presented in English.
The film will screen virtually on the Library’s Livestream.
Following the film, Eduardo Chavez will be in conversation with Stephanie Garibay, multimedia journalist with Idaho News 6. The conversation will be in English and Spanish.
La Biblioteca Comunitaria en asociación con el Grupo de Trabajo Hispano/LatinUS presenta Hailing Cesar, un documental sobre el viaje de Eduardo Chávez para comprender el legado y la lucha de su abuelo, el difunto activista de derechos civiles César Chávez. La película se presentará en inglés.
