This lively discussion group is a perennial favorite for inquisitive minds in the Wood River Valley. The curriculum is developed by the Foreign Policy Association, and it investigates a range of contemporary foreign and domestic policy issues. Topics for the 2019 program include Refugees and Global Migration, The Middle East: Regional Disorder, Nuclear negotiations: Back to the Future?, The Rise of Populism in Europe, Decoding U.S.-China Trade, Cyber Conflicts and Geopolitics, The United State and Mexico: Partnership Tested and State of the State Department and Diplomacy. The discussions will be moderated by Don Liebich, who has been involved with economic development, citizen diplomacy, and human rights projects in the Middle East.
