Writing a novel, a screenplay, a memoir—or any long form story—can be a messy and confusing process. This class will offer simple techniques and guiding principles to help you as you craft your next masterpiece. Join The Community Library Writer-In-Residence Brady Udall for this one-time class, which will focus on discussing the craft of novel writing.
Brady Udall is the author of two novels, The Miracle Life of Edgar Mint and The Lonely Polygamist, and a collection of short stories, Letting Loose the Hounds. His work has appeared in The Paris Review, Esquire and elsewhere. He is a graduate of the Iowa Writers’ Workshop at the University of Iowa and currently teaches writing at Boise State University. Brady was appointed Writer-in-Residence of Idaho from 2010 to 2013, and he will be in residence with The Community Library during January and February 2020.
