Teen Craft: Mini Boxes

Come decorate a mini box in the Young Adult Room on Wednesday, July 8th from 3:00 – 5:00 pm or on Saturday, July 11th from 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm. While supplies last. Supplies and snacks provided. Use our cool papers or bring your own!

If you are participating in our Teen Summer Read Challenge, don’t forget to have a librarian stamp your card.

Teen Taste Test: Potato Chips

Come Taste-Test potato chips and vote for your favorite. This is a self-serve drop-in activity available all day in the Young Adult Room. Cast your ballot for a chance to win a great prize.

If you are participating in our Teen Summer Read Challenge your ballot gets you a stamp on your bingo card — ask a librarian.

Minute To Win It Games

Drop in alone or with friends to try your hand at a series of timed challenges. Careful, they look harder than you think!

Record your time and turn it in for a chance to win a gift card from a local business. Also, if you are participating in our Teen Summer Read Challenge, don’t forget to have your card stamped by a librarian.

Supplies for challenges and snacks will be provided.

Teen Craft: Paint a Succulent Pot

Succulents are all the rage. Come paint your own mini pot and fill it with an adorable succulent. Supplies, succulents, and snacks are provided but space is limited. This project is open to tweens and teens entering grades 6 – 12 and is eligible to fulfill the “attend a library program” portion of our Teen Summer Read Challenge.

This will be held in the Young Adult Room at The Community Library located at 415 Spruce Ave N. Ketchum Idaho.

Teen Poetry Workshop

Come explore language and poetry in a relaxed setting with retired teacher, Darlene Dyer. This free workshop is open to students in grades 6 -12. Food will be served. Drop-ins are welcome, but registration is preferred. Please call 208-726-3493, ext. 2 to reserve a spot.

Teen Tech Week

We’re celebrating Teen Tech Week all month long. Our librarians will be watching for teens using technology in the Wood River Valley. Get caught teching and you could win a gift card to some local joints. Or enter to win when you follow us on Instagram at #WRteens AND post a photo of you using technology to #WRteenstech. Contest ends March 31.
