Rainbow Day with Kathryn Guylay

In partnership with The Community Library, Kathryn Kemp Guylay and her 13-year old son (Illustrator Alex Guylay) will provide an interactive wellness event for the entire family.

Kathryn is a nutritionist, wellness expert, media personality, best-selling and award winning author & founder of non-profit Nurture. Alex is an award winning illustrator providing peer-to-peer messaging!

The will be discussing their new book “Give it a Go, Eat a Rainbow.”

English as a Second Language Class

Adults can study English as a Second Language in these free community classes, beginning Tuesday, January 9 at 6 pm, running each Tuesday through April 3. The classes are taught by Janet Ross-Heiner, M.A. and Karen Little, M.A.

The Community Library Lit Crawl

Celebrate The Community Library’s 60 years of literacy, literature, and history! The Lit Crawl event invites everyone to stroll between multiple venues – the Library’s rooms, the Gold Mine Thrift and Consign Stores, and the Sun Valley Museum of History – to enjoy “tastes” of readings, literature and art displays, delicious food and beverages, and a raffle for amazing prizes with a literary bent. We will be holding a free demo at the library this Wednesday starting at 10:30 am with an Axis360 representative available to field your questions.
