Re-Imagine Public Meeting

The Community Library invites the Wood River Valley community to attend a public meeting on Wednesday, October 15th, 6:00-8:00 pm as part of our Re-Imagine the Community Library campaign. After the first sessions in August and focus group meetings in September, we will update you on the progress of the campaign. Many wonderful ideas have been gathered in the process and we look forward to sharing them with you. Library Lecture Room, light refreshments provided.

‘Kalahari Summer in Photographs and Oils’ – Behind the Images by Robert Grogan

Join artist and photographer Robert Grogan as he discusses his five year effort to produce his recently published book, Kalahari Summer in Photographs and Oils. The presentation will include keys to successful wildlife photography, the trials of painting the highly transient atmospheric effects of storm clouds, and the challenges of living in the Kalahari during the summer months. More general aspects of travel in southern Africa will also be addressed. Signed copies of Kalahari Summer will be available.
