The Community Library

Toddler Read and Play is a new offering at The Children’s Library. Toddler books and a toddler specific activity will be available to toddler and their caregivers. This will be a parent/caregiver-driven opportunity to read and play with your toddler. Toddler Read and Play will be held every other Monday at 11:00 am and every other Saturday at 11:00 am in The Children’s Library.

Emerging readers can read to a therapy dog as part of our Paws to Read program on Saturdays at 11:30 a.m.

Local naturalist, Ann Christensen, hosts Science Time every Tuesday at 11:00 am. Come learn about animals and their habitats. Sometimes, furry, scaly, or feathered creatures make a visit.

Join guest reader, Reginald Reeves, as he enchants with a selection of holiday pop-up books in a special story time for all ages. Veggies, cheese, and crackers will be served.

The Children’s Library hosts an screening of the classic animated feature “How the Grinch Stole Christmas.” Popcorn will be served. This animated version is 30 minutes long.
