Louise Steinman is an author and is the curator of the ALOUD series at the Los Angeles Public Library.
Her essays and feature articles have appeared in the Los Angeles Times Magazine, New York Times Syndicate, L.A. Weekly, Los Angeles Magazine, Salon.com, Washington Post and other publications.

The Community Library Lit Crawl
Celebrate The Community Library’s 60 years of literacy, literature, and history! The Lit Crawl event invites everyone to stroll between multiple venues – the Library’s rooms, the Gold Mine Thrift and Consign Stores, and the Sun Valley Museum of History – to enjoy “tastes” of readings, literature and art displays, delicious food and beverages, and a raffle for amazing prizes with a literary bent.
