Free Workshop for Educators and Students
In advance of the Hemingway Distinguished Lecture on July 16, poet Richard Blanco will lead a 4-hour, outdoor workshop for local students and educators. The workshop, intended for ages 13 and over, will be held for 2 hours each day. Blanco will lead a conversation and exercises on the first day, and participants will return the second day to workshop their original poems.
This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to learn from and engage with one of our most influential contemporary poets. To be entered for a chance to join the workshop, email mwilliams@comlib.org with:
