Seed Saver Fall Gathering

July 7, 2021 by kmerwin

The Library will host our annual gathering of local seed savers to package their surplus seed harvest.  This event serves to replenish the Wood River Seed Library in order to share these locally adapted seed treasures with the gardening community next spring.  Project founder and local seed saver John Caccia of the Rocky Mountain Seed Allaince will provide knowledge and tools to sort and pack your seeds. Seed contributions to the library’s seed library are encouraged but are not required — you can just show up to help and learn.  We encourage all to bring some edible garden goodies or beverage to share if you like.
