In this program, ERC staff will introduce young participants to our local animals and natural environment. We start the hour by reading a story, then delve into some hands-on learning, and end the program with an interactive activity or project for participants to complete. Story Time with Miss Carolyn
Our fall story times will now be held on Mondays at 10:30 am and mostly hosted by Miss Carolyn, a beloved story teller. Story times will features classic stories as well and flannel board activities, songs, fingers plays, or other activities. Story time is a perfect time to introduce literature, stories, and language to your preschool age child. Story time is not long, so please be on time. A craft or simple activity usually follows.
Halloween Story time
Join Miss Carolyn in The Children’s Library for a special Halloween Story time. Dress up is encouraged.

Sewing Club with Britta Hubbard
Sewing Club teaches basic hand stitching for children ages 7+. This October come sew something spooky for Halloween. Expert teacher, Britta Hubbard, shows you how. Materials are provided, but sign-up is required. Please call The Children’s Library at (208) 726-3493 x2 to reserve a spot.
Parental or caregiver help is encouraged and children under the age of 9 may not be left unattended.
