Consign Retail Manager recommends The 48 Laws of Power by Robert Greene

The 48 Laws of Power explores how power works in everyday life, using real examples from history to explain different strategies people have used to gain and keep control.
The book breaks down 48 “laws,” some focused on being careful and strategic, like keeping your plans private, and others more direct, like taking bold action when needed. Through these lessons, Greene shows how power isn’t always about strength, but often about understanding people and situations.
What I appreciate most about this book is how it opens your eyes to how people operate, especially in work and social environments. It teaches you to be more aware, think ahead, and not be easily taken advantage of.
While some of the ideas can feel intense or even manipulative, I see them more as tools for awareness rather than rules to follow. Overall, it’s a thought-provoking book that helps you better understand human behavior and how to move smarter in different situations.
