Alex Rider: Stormbreaker by Anthony Horowitz
Hi, my name is Zane. I am 12 years old. I enjoy playing soccer, video games, and fishing.
Alex Rider, Stormbreaker was an exciting and action-packed book, where you’re always wondering what is going to happen next. This book is about 14-year-old Alex Rider who lives with his uncle. Alex always thought his uncle Ian was a banker, until supposedly Ian Rider dies in a car crash. But Alex knows this isn’t true, and the bullet holes in the car prove it. Now, Alex is recruited by a spy agency and only has a short amount of time to find his uncle’s killers. The agency also suspects that there is something fishy going on, as a wealthy man is gifting every school in England with a high-tech computer, although there is something in the computer that could cause catastrophe.
This was a very engaging book with a lot of action that I enjoyed a lot. One good part was when Alex is recruited and goes through training. Another part that I liked was when Alex goes to the junkyard to find his uncle’s car and discovers the real story. As you can see, the book Alex Rider, Stormbreaker was one of my favorite books and a page turner that I would definitely recommend to everyone.
