Regional History Reading Room

In the Betty Olsen Carr Reading Room, you can check out thousands of books on regional history, explore historical maps, and view rotating exhibits. You also can consult the librarian at the reference desk to access items from the archive and develop your research plans.

The Regional History collection includes significant materials on ski history, sheep ranching and agriculture, Hemingway in Idaho, and more, with items ranging from personal papers to historic photos and videos to clothes, skis, and saddles.
