The newly published Fault Lines: The Layman’s Guide to Understanding America’s Role in the Ever-Changing Middle East explains the fault lines that have often plagued U.S. efforts to protect its national interests in the region and how these ongoing faults have led to a precipitous decline in American influence.
The author, Don Liebich, will host a discussion on current affairs in the Middle East from the civil war in Syria to Israel/Palestine to the rise of ISIS and more.
Don will be joined by library programs manager Scott Burton, Scott holds an MSc in Middle East Politics from SOAS, University of London.
