City Spies: Forbidden City by James Ponti
I am Tiago. I like to read mystery and adventure books. When I am not reading I love to play hockey, ride my bike, and ski.
City Spies is the third book of the series by the author James Ponti. Forbidden City is one of my personal favorite books. I feel that people of all ages that like mysteries and adventure would really enjoy this book.
The author James Ponti writes in a way that gives a lot of detail, making the book really interesting the farther you go (I stayed up until 1:00 a.m. once reading this book). City Spies is a series about kids who all have different unique talents. In Forbidden Cities, the kids receive a code that is declared unbreakable and must find out how to solve it while trying to save one of the best young chess players in the world from being kidnapped.
The story takes many twists and turns as the kids try and find out who the kidnappers are. The story is full of suspense and makes you feel many different emotions. Something that I really liked about the book is how they connect with other people. It’s really cool to see the different ways that they do things, some I never imagined. Personally, I would recommend this book.
