That’s Not My Name by Megan Lally
My name is Camille. I am in 10th grade and I enjoy skiing and swimming. I enjoy reading mysteries and thrillers in my free time.
That’s Not My Name, written by Megan Lally, is a mystery thriller that will keep you engaged and wanting more. The story follows two different characters, Mary and Drew, in their different lives. Despite the two characters’ stories taking place in completely different locations, they seem to be related somehow.
Drew is on the hunt for his missing girlfriend, Lola, and is also trying to clear his own name. Mary, on the other hand, is trying to figure her life out after an accident that made her lose her memory with a man who claims to be her dad.
By the end of this book, you will be questioning everything, and you won’t be able to get it off of your mind. It only took me two days to finish this book because I just couldn’t put it down. I really enjoyed reading this book because it kept me on the edge of my seat and the plot twists were amazing. Throughout this book I felt confused, angry, sad, and so much more. I also thought the author’s writing style helped tell the story, but there were moments when I thought some sentences or paragraphs could have been written differently. Overall, however, I truly enjoyed this book and I would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys mystery and thrillers.
