Found by Margaret Peterson Haddix
My name is Bria, I am a ski racer, swimmer, and dancer. I love reading in my free time.
Found (The Missing Series) by Margaret Peterson Haddix is an intriguing book. It it, a couple of teenagers look into their adoption, which leads to a complicated story of time travel, vanishing planes, and conspiracy theories. Jonah and his friend Chip, with help from Jonah’s sister Katherine, go on a dangerous trip to find out about their past. This book explores not only the answers they find but also how much they change during their search, making their friendships stronger and bringing their family closer.
After a little bit of digging, they find themselves at Mr. Reardon’s office with the FBI. There they find a witness list. The witness list has thirty-six thirteen-year-olds all living in Liston, Upper Tyson or Clarksville, Ohio. They all end up at a conference for adopted adolescence and their parents.
Found (The Missing Series) hooks you right away then keeps you entertained the whole way through the book. I haven’t read any of Margaret Person Haddix’s other books, but I’m guessing this is one of her best. I thought it was exciting with just the right amount of background information to keep you asking questions. I first just read it for IBOB, but I am glad I did because it was a really good book.
